The UKRLG brings together national and local government from across the UK to consider roads infrastructure engineering and operations matters. It comprises a number of Boards: Bridges, Lighting & Technology, Roads, Network Management Board, Asset Management, and Adaptation, Biodiversity and Climate Board. There is also the Footways & Cyletrack Management Group, Winter Service Research Group, Road Condition Information Group and Bridge Owners Forum that support the UKRLG.
Well-managed highway infrastructure' supersedes the previous Codes 'Well-maintained Highways', 'Well-lit Highways' and 'Management of Highway Structures'. This was published on 28 October 2016.
