Access Planning Group

This group was set up to encourage mutual collaboration on facilitating and sharing access arrangements for bridge inspections and works, between UK Bridge Owners and Transport Authorities.

If you are planning on carrying out inspections or works on your bridges which interface with other Transport Authorities, there are points of contact for those authorities, and advance major works programmes for CRT and Network Rail which may be of use to you, linked to this page. You may also ask those authorities if they have inspection data of their own which they are willing to share with you which may reduce the need for some inspections.
